Ticket-office terms of use

All the sales at Tartu New Theatre online ticket-office pilet.uusteater.ee (hereafter ticket-office) are organised by MTÜ Uus Teater, registration no 80310536, address Lai 37, Tartu, e-mail piletid@uusteater.ee / phone no (+372) 5675 5977 (hereafter Theatre). By using the services provided by the ticket-office, you agree to the following terms of use.


General Conditions

By making a purchase, the buyer agrees to the ticket-office terms of use. The terms apply to the events that are on Tartu New Theatre program and on sale in the ticket-office. If the purchase button next to the event refers to any other ticket sales office (e.g. Piletilevi, Piletimaailm, Piletitasku, Fienta, etc), it directs the buyer to the corresponding ticket-office where different conditions may apply to make the purchase.


Buying tickets

In order to buy a ticket from the online ticket-office, the buyer needs to have an online account (to make the payment) and a valid e-mail address (to receive the purchased tickets). If for any reason the tickets are not sent after the payment (that includes also after pressing "back to merchant / tagasi kaupmehe juurde"  button) to the buyers e-mail and are not found in junk-mail either, or there is some other problem with the purchase, please contact the ticket-office at piletid@uusteater.ee


Payment

Payment can be made in euros and is organised by Maksekeskus, which allows you to easily and securely pay for the purchases made on the internet. Service fees for using online ticket-office are not applied to the buyer. At the moment it is not possible to use Tartu New Theatre gift card to pay for the tickets at the ticket-office directly. To buy tickets with a gift card, please contact the box-office at piletid@uusteater.ee


Cancelling and exchanging tickets

The theatre does not buy back tickets, theatre tickets are exchanged on case-by-case basis depending on the possibilities.
Pre-sale tickets for events canceled due to reasons not related to the theater (e.g. orders given by the Government of the Republic of Estonia, the Board of Health, etc.) will be exchanged for future events or gift cards of the same value. Tickets for canceled events, which are not organized by Tartu New Theatre, but whose tickets are on sale in the theater's ticket-office, are exchanged and bought back under the conditions of the event organiser.

Using tickets

By making the purchase, the buyer agrees to follow the restrictions, rules and instructions valid at the time of the event, which may not have been in force at the time of making the purchase, but which are required by the orders or laws of the Government, Health Board, Rescue Board, etc. in order to protect the public's health and ensure their safety. 


Privacy Terms

The privacy terms regulate the use and management of the buyers personal information in the ticket-shop. The data is processed by MTÜ Uus Teater / registration no 80310536 / address Lai 37, 51005 Tartu. The data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Data to be collected /
Personal data to be processed are data submitted to the theatre to make the purchase. Such data are the buyer's name, e-mail address and other data necessary to make the payment. The theater collects minimum personal data to manage the ticket purchase transaction and according to customer service needs.

The purpose of processing personal data /
Personal data is processed for the purpose of making and delivering a purchase from the theatre ticket-office: to identify the user registered in the ticket-office, to sell and buy back tickets, to solve problems (reissuing of lost tickets, etc.), to book tickets, to forward information related to the performance.

Anonymous purchase  /
Buying tickets without revealing personal data to the theatre is only possible at the box-office at Tartu New Theatre, open before events at Lai 37, Tartu or on demand. 

Data storage safety measures /
The theatre keeps the buyer's personal data confidential and complies with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act. The theatre will not disclose the information it has received to third parties more than is minimally necessary for the delivery of the purchase or to state authorities, if permitted by the applicable laws of the Republic of Estonia.

The data communication for payment between the buyer and Maksekeskus is encrypted, which ensures the security of the buyer's personal data and bank details. The theatre does not have access to the buyer's confidential bank and payment card details. 

The theatre ensures that its servers where personal data is stored and data exchange protocols are secure and protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Data processors / 
Theater processes all collected data for the purposes and conditions set out in the privacy terms. Authorized employees have access to all customer data.
