This is a hymn for the young in search of their inner selves, uncertain whether they will ever find them. Who is “young” today, and who once was — what is left to live, and what will remain unlived?
The production seeks to capture the feeling of being young.
It seeks to BE young.
What do we dream of living and what have we already given up?
Every generation that eventually assumes power has its own face.
But what choices and possibilities does that leave for those who follow?
In our youth, a flame burns brightly until it erupts into the world
or fades like a spark deprived of air.
